看的是杨坤翻译的中文版。最吸引人的并不是故事本身，而是在貌似漫不经心的文字里，释放出来的沉重的悲伤。读起来心里好像一直压抑着，却又始终留有一线光亮。老头子在午夜钟声响起时留下眼泪，还有在房间歇斯底里的砸东西，对小女孩的所有不可理喻或是小心翼翼的眷恋情绪，很打动人。这种爱一点都不肮脏，相反，因为没有任何杂质而显得格外美好。
