Michelle Robinson Obama served as First Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017. A graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School, Mrs. Obama started her career as an attorney at the Chicago law firm Sidley & Austin, where she met her future husband, Barack Obama. She later worked in the Chicago mayor’s office, at the University of Chicago, and at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Mrs. Obama also founded the Chicago chapter of Public Allies, an organization that prepares young people for careers in public service.

The Obamas currently live in Washington, DC, and have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.

平淡吧。除了媒体勉强报道的几个标题党也真是没什么了。Michelle的家教很像典型的开明严格亚洲家长。成长也很像ABC啊所以单看并没有什么惊奇的。写到遇见奥巴马之后都像是奥巴马的传记了，也真的没办法，这么杰出的一个女人的生活变成了围绕别人转，只因为奥巴马实在更出色。当然作为第一夫人来说她真的是做得很不错，几个initiative都很成功，但是这些我们都知道了嘛。所以成功和story worthy 并不需要很大关系

在中国，很少有同学会因为你成绩考了第一就忍不住要攻击你，歧视女性；也不会因为肤色而被同龄的孩子区别对待；可女性的野心很容易止步于象牙塔，大环境温水煮青蛙，大家的野心就倾向于朝婚姻妥协了，姑娘们觉得不输给同性就是很不错了，跟男性竞争的人越来越少。Michelle幼儿园就揍了DeaDea；被性别歧视的那个小男孩打，她也打回去了；做好宁愿单身也要实现自我追求，遇到Barack后也并未妥协自我，Barack以前总觉得婚姻是无必要的，伴侣双方一起妥协才是健康的婚姻。自己有大学贷款可依然敢在同样有贷款在身的Barack结婚，得益外围环境的支持。Michelle小时候想要妹妹，打算藏妈妈的避孕药，这个细节很触动我，性教育科普的让人羡慕；初潮她即开心又兴奋，能看作是一件美好值得庆祝的事，替这种氛围感到开心。

米歇尔自己读的有声书。前面故事就很平淡。就是黑人社区里的绩优生，哥哥也是拿篮球奖学金进普林斯顿。说穷也只是穷到只能开别克的地步了。和Trevor Noah在种族隔离制度下长大的故事怎么比啊……和《乡下人悲歌》类似，美国人地板太高，起点太高。让我们第三世界长大的人民好难代入。后面更垮。整体失望。
