About the Author

Bob Woodward is an associate editor at The Washington Post, where he has worked for forty-seven years. He has shared in two Pulitzer Prizes, first for the Post’s coverage of the Watergate scandal with Carl Bernstein, and second in 2003 as the lead reporter for coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Fire and Fury两章之后就看不下去了，但Fear一周就结束战斗，老记者的文字功底还是够硬的。虽说半文盲Trump不会来读这本书，但个人觉得内容上对他也不失公正，偶尔还是可以看到他人性的一面。这个人说到底也没有多邪恶，也没有大家平时嘲笑的那么蠢，只是他身上一箩筐的心理问题都被身边的人和现时环境放大到无可挽回的地步，可怜了白宫里（曾经）仅存的几个明白人。
