根本不知道作者在分析啥。。。她说是perceptions 但是全书她都试图对战争过程决策等历史现实做分析。但如果要分析后者，她又很少使用档案或其他直接记录，完全凭借当时的新闻报道和一些二手研究。她对战争成败的分析基本是复制当时新闻报道的分析。看完之后你会觉得 Cambridge U.P. 是不是就是写够字数就给出版。。。居然还是她的第二本书。。。这种骗人的货也不知道怎么评上的 endowed professor。。。比如第九章完全就是毫无相关的 incoherent babbling，此章最后一段还说失败源于东方文化是essentialist，而非rational, universialist。。。 Hello！！！你的approach 就是前者呀! 。。。
