根本不知道作者在分析啥。。。她說是perceptions 但是全書她都試圖對戰爭過程決策等曆史現實做分析。但如果要分析後者，她又很少使用檔案或其他直接記錄，完全憑藉當時的新聞報道和一些二手研究。她對戰爭成敗的分析基本是復製當時新聞報道的分析。看完之後你會覺得 Cambridge U.P. 是不是就是寫夠字數就給齣版。。。居然還是她的第二本書。。。這種騙人的貨也不知道怎麼評上的 endowed professor。。。比如第九章完全就是毫無相關的 incoherent babbling，此章最後一段還說失敗源於東方文化是essentialist，而非rational, universialist。。。 Hello！！！你的approach 就是前者呀! 。。。
