因为刚开始接触ruby，所以可能意见不够专业，但是觉得这本书的介绍方式还是挺好，首先对于ruby中一些重要的概念进行一个统一的介绍，然后从ruby的核心类和对象来入手，让初学者比较容易接受，并且穿插实例进行讲解，方便边看边练习.入门很不错的书籍

等了很久，终于出版了，赶紧入手，才看了一天，内容不要说了，当然perfect,翻译的还行吧，不过这书也太厚了，干吗不分两册出呢，捧在手里时间长了可真够重的，难怪知识就是重量了;)

学习ruby必看的一本书，只是这本书洋洋撒撒上千页，需要花很多时间。。前后几乎用了半年才断断续续的看完。书里面简直保罗万象，关于Ruby的所有基本知识，而且例子都很简单明了，英语读起来也没有灰色难懂。从一个语言的角度，几乎讲到了一个高级语言应该有的所有feature。读完以后当作参考书是个不错的选择。

如果能够用心看的话觉得对于初接触Ruby的新手是一本非常适合的书籍，第一部分详细介绍了Ruby的语法和优秀特性，适合初级入门。后面两部分更深入的讲解Ruby更高层次的运用和背后的原理，适合进阶阅读。第四部分就是供使用时查阅的常用库了。花了10天时间认真拜读了前三部分，受益匪浅，赞！

只是一本参考手册。书的前部分是介绍，后部分是api。读过The Ruby Programming Language，就没必要读这本手册了。下个电子版的备用翻阅不错的。
