喬治·佩雷剋(1936—1982)
法國當代先鋒小說傢,主要作品包括《物:60年代紀事》《W或童年記憶》《生活使用說明》等。1967年加入文學實驗團體“潛在文學工場”,對作品加以形式、文學或數學上的種種限製,形成獨特的敘事風格。

《沉睡的人》齣版於1967年,是喬治·佩雷剋的第三部小說。作者使用第二人稱,直接與主人公對話,用詩意的語言講述瞭一個大學生把自己封閉起來,逐漸沉浸在麻木和無謂之中,最終徹底遁世的經過。
