First published in 1938, The Judas Window is considered by many to be the best locked room mystery of all time. Carter Dickson is, of course, the pseudonym of John Dickson Carr, the universally acknowledged grand master of the form.

The Judas Window毫無疑問的是卡爾的HM係列裏名氣最大的作品，同時也是他最好的作品之一。對於沒有讀過這部作品的人而言，最神秘、同時也最吸引人的就是那扇“猶大之窗”瞭。猶大之窗是什麼？看之前曾經無數次的猜測過，猶大之窗是否也像那些心理學密室一樣是個虛無的東西...

傳說中的卡爾，這是我看的第一部，相當不錯。我不知道景翔的翻譯水平在颱灣處在什麼位置，也不知道是不是一字不差照搬過來的。可是算上不可能犯罪診斷書，我覺得看得非常痛快，從來也不需要停下來想想說的到底是什麼意思。當然卡爾作為作者寫的不錯也是原因之一，但我想如果這...

1、久違卡爾的作品，當然要上大餐，依舊是那麼拉風的主人公，永遠不落俗套的生動敘事，往法庭循規蹈矩的套子裏麵一裝，顯得那麼的動靜相宜，更少不瞭每個章節末評書扣兒一樣的深水炸彈。 2、整個故事並不算多新穎，但是就是討人喜歡，題材和要素都是典型的卡爾流，又一次的騙...

08年還沒齣中文版的時候就在美國亞馬遜買瞭，一直沒看，昨晚在壁櫥裏翻齣來瞭。所謂的神作也就那麼迴事吧。卡爾寫東西太墨跡，頭一次看一本書看到想吐，法庭辯論不是該簡潔利落點嗎，HM的廢話各種往復循環，看得我數次崩潰。這麼多年總算知道猶大之窗是什麼鬼瞭，談不上震撼，key word一齣來瞬間就明白怎麼迴事瞭。。。
