之前稍微玩過精讀《性意識史》（為求方便，《性意識史》將以HS簡稱，而《規訓與懲罰》則是DP），交互看兩本書是件很有意思的事，尤其是看The History of Sexuality和Discipline and Punish，兩本著作出版相隔不到一年，主題看似迥異，但實際上卻蘊含傅柯對權力關係最詳盡的解釋...

我们以为是“人道”以及“现代”的这些事物与事实真的就停留在它们的字面意义上吗？再往深处追溯到底能够发现什么？是真理还是虚无？还是善恶皆模糊的一个境域？福柯在第一章提到的“technology of power”就是他这本书宗旨，也是对“人道主义”其本质的精辟概括。尤其打鸡血的是福柯在the condemned一章收尾所言撰写历史的原因：Writing a history of the past in terms of the present? No, he is writing the history of the present.
