扇贝看的第二本英文书，感觉还是扇贝的评论好看。有人说Beast是在软禁Beauty，像新闻说的有个人贩子把大学生拐到深山，给她好吃好住只要求她不走留下做自己老婆，后来大学生的父母和警察把大学生救出了，可是大学生对深山里的生活有了感情，终究是溜回了大山，因此Beast的行为已构成软禁。这么一说还真觉得故事十分雷同。可能我已经过了看安徒生的年纪了，不过好像以前看安徒生也看得略尴尬的。好多人说为什么Beast一开始让他的老丈人下跪，转头来又要娶她女儿，这我倒觉得可能剧情需要，因为老丈人摘的玫瑰对他真的很重要，其实Beast脾气挺好的，老丈人随便吃和自己照顾自己Beast都没吭一声了。倒是，Beauty看得我很尴尬，白莲花吧，一点污尘都没有。说到底，这终究是个童话。

最后的结局有点难以接受，只是几天不见就要把自己饿死吗… 小时候看的版本还是因为魔法消失什么的奄奄一息呢。不过本书至少语言水平上来了没那么尬了。

The first English book I've ever read. That's what true love looks like in an unrealistic world. Indeed, virtue is more important than appearance and wit. But it's hard to know someone in that deep degree before the two live together, especially in nowadays. It feels like we don't have that much patience on one person anymore.
