绝妙。读到结尾才知道之前所有的冗长只为了这一刻，一切的平和庸常无奈和轻叹，在结尾的腐尸中成为残忍的温柔、血色的美，一切都有了意义，一切又会慢慢地悄悄地回归平静，如一场噩梦。到最后才发现这个故事曾在高三迟子建的一篇文章的开头看到过，当时就很喜欢，福克纳的散文舍伍德安德森写“等待着再一次被伤害”，有一样的美，这种美如醍醐灌顶当头棒喝，毛骨悚然。整篇都是旁人流言串行的，是“poor Emily”里她生命的碎片，其实真正的原因在开头便说了：她没有办法，她不得不拒绝父亲的死，以此为自己的痛苦负责。她为何买毒药，她的爱人为何死去，老奴为何是哑的，她为何开一堂泥塑课，为何她从不打扫自己的婚房，与尘土和污垢共生，好像为死亡献祭？为何福克纳要送给她一朵玫瑰？为何这样写，福克纳作文章的方式值得更多探究，要记得。
