這本書其實是經營婦女消費品從簡單實用到豪華糜菲發展的一個縮影，從小店麵普通商人的生活一直描寫到大百貨公司老闆的發傢史。客觀上真實描寫瞭人類愛、恨、貪婪的欲望。竊以為BOSS每天關門結業時在辦公室裏數錢的形象最為活生生。
