Shamim Sarif recently directed the motion picture adaptation of I Can’t Think Straight. She is also the writer/director of the award-winning feature film, The World Unseen, which is based on her novel of the same name. The book of The World Unseen won the Pendleton May First Novel Award and a Betty Trask

Award. She is the author of a further novel, Despite the Falling Snow. She lives in London with her partner Hanan and their two children.

Well not necessarily better than the movie, in some case, screenwriting was better. However, the book offered more details and room for imagination. Movie is one of this thing, that you have to show everything in as little as two hours.

因為太喜歡瞭，所以有這個毅力看下去~

有很多小細節是電影裏沒有或者改掉瞭的，語言比那啥雪花和秘密的扇子難懂些，趕腳對閱讀很有好處。其實有些細節完全可以放到電影裏的，也不會增加多少時間啊，但會大大增強連貫性~ ps：忘瞭和fingersmith的語言比起來咋樣瞭~
