最初看本書，是被書名所吸引，代號“鋸齒”(Zigzag)這個名不錯，能吸引眼球！花瞭點時間看完，覺得書的裝幀設計還不錯，內容也挺吸引人的。不過，書前麵幾章的內容跳躍性有點大，接下來情節就比較緊湊瞭，一氣嗬成；結尾又感覺不太具有悲劇色彩（可能是電影看多瞭...

前幾天，一個偶然的機會，這個書名映入我的眼簾。書的名字一看我就很好奇，一直在想些的什麼內容啊。這本書真是寫的不錯，我看瞭兩天晚上都沒有睡覺，一口氣讀完瞭。感覺內容很豐富，言語精闢。可以感悟到人生的哲理。

page-turner! 不過作者對Zigzag這樣動機復雜，矛盾重重的人物所做的心理分析不多，有種未能盡興之感。von Gröning, Dagmar, Faramus和Lord Rothschild為這段曆史增添瞭不同方麵的注解。民眾搶救著火的圖書館，《泰晤士報》的主編拒絕替政府散布不實新聞則是讓人肅然起敬的時刻。

Chapman's twisted personality in the role of Agent Zigzag during war time has been the highlight of the book, although the general plots of espionage for this one single agent is not nearly as intriguing and sophisticated as those of "Double Cross". Overall an extremely pleasant read.
