小學、中學、大學都看過的書，現在印象竟然這麼淺，好多情節想不太起來瞭。這次讀英文版可能由於語言的原因，讀的慢瞭一些，但是過程中思考的也更多瞭一點，感覺很多內容印象深刻瞭許多。依然是財富引發的謀殺、背叛與復仇故事。Watson還結實瞭自己未來的妻子~

Sherlock Holmes第二部，比第一部好看太多瞭，可見大師也不是一蹴而就的。

今天在沙發上看瞭一整天，看到華生找到老婆的片段那時，我也為他開心。不過話說迴來，我初中有看這部的中文版，可是什麼都想不起來瞭，看的時候也基本上一點印象都沒有。我還是喜歡這種比較原始的偵探小說，現在好多偵探小說越來越冗長和誇張。明天可以聽一下廣播劇。

福爾摩斯和柯南道爾都不能保佑我的劇本殺…… sigh …… 第二個故事在推理上好像沒有the study of scarlet 那麼好看。花生隨隨便便就撈瞭個媳婦，福爾摩斯還是隻要 life without dullness 就是 life of significance，然後在沒有案子的時候專心嗑藥。我覺得可能要拜一下宋慈來保佑我的劇本殺大業！

福爾摩斯裏很喜歡的一個故事。論推理，並不一定是最棒的，但是它的背景設定特彆吸引人，通過小人物的命運，從側麵瞭解瞭很多大英帝國內部宗主國和殖民地的各種關係，比冷冰冰的曆史書更能有代入感。
