Sally Rooney was born in 1991 and lives in Dublin. Her work has appeared in the New Yorker, Granta, The White Review, The Dublin Review, The Stinging Fly, Kevin Barry's Stonecutter and The Winter Page anthology. Her debut novel, Conversations with Friends, was the most popular debut in the 2017 end-of-year round-ups. 雖然錶麵上看起來隻是“高中大學生談戀愛的故事”，但Sally Rooney的語言風格非常流暢，full of wit的同時又很細膩。看完聊天記錄和這一本，正式成為Sally的迷妹，隻是不知道何時纔有下一本書。新時代“愛爾蘭三部麯”？

實在太喜歡Sally Rooney聊天記錄瞭，沒有中譯本的情況下翻完瞭這本，總之一直沒有get到點吧。男女一號和處女作裏的個性、談吐依然是很相似的，尤其是話總說一半、對於感情的不自信。結尾和前部比就更遜色瞭。
