Sally Rooney was born in 1991 and lives in Dublin. Her work has appeared in the New Yorker, Granta, The White Review, The Dublin Review, The Stinging Fly, Kevin Barry's Stonecutter and The Winter Page anthology. Her debut novel, Conversations with Friends, was the most popular debut in the 2017 end-of-year round-ups. 描寫的很細緻入微，但是共鳴感不是很強。我理解他們之間的羈絆，但是對於Cornell的性格包括後期抑鬱有點牽強，感覺是為瞭襯托Marianne的屈從性。I like the whole story of Marianne after she graduated from school and I like the ending too!

衛報鍾愛魯尼這本書以緻於評其為本世紀最佳小說之一。其實語言給我的感覺不如處女作Conversations with Friends欸。原生傢庭的影響也一直在文字裏吧。

雖然有些地方還是slow瞭點但的確屬於那種細膩到讓人想起青春期的書兩個人的關係仿佛有自己的生命不過還是更喜歡conversation with friends 感覺那一本更開闊些人物也更豐滿
