如果按原著的标准，电影剧本的改编算是很失败的。本来明明可以更有时代感更有冲突性更饱满而强韧的。Skeeter遗失装稿子的手袋，乡村俱乐部对质，KKK夜袭事件，教堂集会，Aibileen向Yule提出邀约，这些都是背景或细节上的关键，不但雕塑了人物个性，也更强调change的必要性，将心动化为行动的勇气。倒是skeeter的爱情戏可以删，Yule向Hilly借贷的情节也完全可以带过。电影将时代风云变成了众女仆为私意团结起来打倒Hilly这个大boss的过程，格局立刻变得很小。改编得太小家了。

很快四天看完，还是很不错的故事，也的确是有一些畅销的元素。而且喜欢她写的不做作。只是觉得写的功力不够，不过是处女作，也不简单了。
