如果說斯賓諾莎是理性主義走到頭瞭的笛卡爾，那麼羅卡就是理性主義走到頭的斯賓諾莎。第一章和最後一章比較有趣，澄清瞭一些睏惑，比如“自然可理解性”的含義（但實際上這隻不過是指嚮瞭自然的不可理解性）；整體來說，前邊的形而上學部分還不錯（我在這一塊比較薄弱）；到瞭認識論的部分就有一些平庸，又缺少瞭關於知識理論的討論，感覺十分遺憾；心理學部分基本是老生常談毫無洞見，到瞭政治學部分就是無聊瞭。昨天重讀完施聖斯賓諾莎講稿的導言，然後再看本書的政治學部分簡直看不下去；最後關於sub specie aeternitatis的論證完全不能接受。感覺和老一輩學者相比，現在的書會更多地糾結於細枝末節，尤其是斯賓諾莎本人講得很清楚的東西，也要用自己的話再說一遍，十分無聊。但是不這麼寫，又會被說論證跳躍，sigh
