非常有意思的對社會學、美學（哲學）/藝術史的學派思潮的迴顧，可以說讓我看到社會學能對the art/aesthetic value給齣的另類解釋。可惜對於如何在意識形態的簡化與藝術價值的超驗之間尋找一種平衡，作者給定瞭立場卻沒能給齣一個答案。而此書顯然無法在簡單的一百頁之中，對如此龐大的哲學話題做齣更深的闡釋，對藝術品有更精妙的理解，事實上僅僅是列舉人名、摘選段落、附加解釋對作者而言已經很費力瞭。非常不適閤社會學、哲學入門者的讀物 Chris
