拉維•哈吉（Rawi Hage），1964年生於貝魯特，在九年的黎巴嫩內戰中長大。1984年移居紐約，並於1991年定居加拿大濛特利爾，先後在道森學院和康考迪亞大學學習攝影和美術，還當過齣租車司機。
