Biggs作為在現實世界身經百戰，又好為人師（正麵意義）的長---者（而且在耶魯讀的還是文學專業），在去世前兩年寫的東西充滿瞭hard-won wisdom。隻可惜這種用隱晦的方式傳達齣來的智慧總是被血氣正旺的小朋友誤解，美亞的上一群打瞭雞血的評價就證明很多人沒有耐心體會最後一章作者那種心宇將滅萬事休的感慨。有種很多人看瞭瞭不起的蓋茨比以後打雞血想當蓋茨比的既視感。
