對於初學者，還是需要建立對position, odds這些基本概念。打對瞭輸牌和打錯瞭贏牌都是poke的一部分。10，2能贏牌還是得靠運氣，對於初學者，principle還是要尊重的。Bluff隻能是偶爾為之。slow play有利有弊。現在新的poke解說不錯，已經是暗牌解說，這纔看得齣解說的水平。
