This fi rst book-length study of Edmund Burke and his philosophy, originally published in 1958, explores this intellectual giant's relationship to, and belief in, the natural law.

囉嗦。一根筋。但對發掘柏剋的自然法麵嚮功不可沒，隻是矯枉過正。另，本書題獻給大名鼎鼎的吳經熊，吳似乎可算Stanlis的老師，密歇根大學。吳自己寫的那本自然法的書應當不錯，國內關注似乎不多。
