约翰•R•安德森，美国著名的认知心理学家，约翰•R•安德森(John R. Anderson)是美国卡内基－梅隆大学(Carnegie Mellon University)心理学系和计算机科学系梅隆教授，美国科学院院士，曾任美国科学院心理学部(Psychology Section) 2001-2004届主席，认知科学学会1988届主席，曾获美国心理学会杰出科学职业奖(American Psychological Association’s Distinguished Scientific Career Award，1994)、鲁姆哈特奖(2004)、实验心理学杰出成就奖(2005)、荷兰皇家科学院首届海涅肯(Heineken)认知科学奖(2006)、和富兰克林计算机与认知科学奖(2011)等重大奖项。2004年，著名心理学史家Noel Sheehy将约翰•安德森与冯特、弗洛伊德、巴普洛夫以及赫伯特•西蒙并列，评定他为人类历史上“50位最伟大的心理学思想家”之一，而且是其中最年轻的一位。

秦裕林，Yulin Qin，男，1947年生。美国卡内基梅隆大学(Carnegie Mellon University, CMU)认知心理学博士(1992)。导师赫伯特•西蒙(1916-2001，Herbert A. Simon,中文名司马贺)生前为美国科学院院士、中国科学院外籍院士；曾荣获诺贝尔经济学奖(1978)、计算机科学图灵奖(1975)和美国心理学会杰出科学贡献奖(1969)、美国心理学会终身贡献奖(1993)等奖，系当代认知心理学和人工智能奠基者之一。

2000年以来，秦裕林工作在CMU的安德森实验室，研究方向为认知体系结构(Cognitive architecture)与计算模型ACT-R及其神经基础。曾作为第一作者与导师西蒙共同著名在《认知科学》和认知科学年会等发表论文6篇，与安德森共同著名在《美国科学院院刊》(第一作者)、《认知心理学》、《认知神经科学杂志》等国际重要专业刊物上发表论文13篇。

曾与清华大学人文学院教授曹南燕共同翻译赫伯特•西蒙自传《我生活的种种模式》(东方出版中心，1997)。在CMU学习期间及在安德森实验室工作期间，曾经听安德森本人讲过本书的不同版本。

一本教科书式的书籍，里面特别多的图表，含数学，学好数学真的很重要，遇到些函数统计概率的图表和公式。直接都是略过不想细读，因为也看不懂和明白计算出来最后是不是对的，从这个角度个人缺乏严谨的科学态度去对待，这个是一个缺陷因为任何经典的著作，都是讲究理论和实证的...
