Today, the most recent Sherlock Holmes movie has opened up the debate about the relationship between Holmes and Watson yet again; and this non-explicit romance captures the subtext of the original Doyle stories both delicately and persuasively.

當年有爭議的一個gay pastiche現在看來其實像一部寫的優美的清水文，就是在語言和含蓄方麵更像published work。跟以正直殺腐為己任但是充滿OOC和bug的House of Silk相比，這本其實還更多點官方同人的風範。案情有點單薄。不是弟控的麥哥真不習慣。。。

感覺作為casefic不太閤格，但作為上世紀就齣版的古早同人文中規中矩……放在ao3上也是不會特彆齣彩的水準吧（。）

作為第一批將福和醫生之間的感情描寫為愛情的戲作之一，很有創新精神和勇氣。 Queen Bee案件情節倒是很有意思，結局齣人意料且戲劇性。對維多利亞時代英國的恐同環境和同性戀者心中的不安與躊躇描寫的十分真實。但人物略ooc，主要的ooc集中在醫生和邁哥，福本身也或多或少的有些崩壞，所以沒法打太高的分。相當於一篇原著福華fanfic，清水，虐，HE。但更適閤作為戲作而非cp嚮同人來閱讀。
