因为在midterm paper里面探讨了下Kano中的colonial intimacy，被老师推荐去看Ann Stoler的作品；结果我发现她讨论的殖民地的intimate跟我说的那玩意儿不太一样，她讨论的是对于sexuality的殖民治理问题，很敏锐地注意到了殖民地“欧洲人”社群内部的heterogeneity和相对应的governmentality。她提醒道，欧洲人和殖民者并不是重合的概念，且殖民者／被殖民者并不是固定的区分，在她的研究中，对白人女人、儿童、混血儿这些主体的（被）殖民经验考察大大丰富了我们对于殖民主义的认识。因为跟论文不直接有关，所以翻得很快，有个章节叫A colonial reading of Foucault，引入了race来读Foucault的性史，有空细看
