Carr認為海德格爾把康德呼叟的先驗哲學看成某種關於作為實體的主體的本體論的變種是偏題的。empirical/ transcendental被類比於natural attitude/ epoche，不是本體論構造而是兩種perspectives。這種區分恰恰是要在視角上超齣，而不是重復瞭本體論。在這個意義上海德格爾自己的dasein也被Carr看作transcendental tradition的一種，而煩神提供瞭從natural attitude“切換”到這一視角的契機。最後，paradox of subjectivity相應的也不是本體論上的割裂或衝突，而是這兩個視角根本上的難以調和。清楚明白短。（要是他上課也這樣就好瞭……=。=
