This is the story of a man's discovery of his true sexuality. Maurice is born into a privileged way of life, conforming to social conventions, yet he finds himself increasingly attracted to his own sex. Through Clive, a Cambridge friend, and Alec, the gamekeeper, he experiences a sexual awakening.

JW親自讀Maurice什麼的，真是不能再圓滿瞭

评分傳說中的Maurice，但是說實話不太理解他和Scudder的情感，剩下的更多還是嘆息懷念年輕那會的Clive，細膩的少年

评分音質渣，還是刪減版。但是最後他說I was yours once till death if you’d cared to keep me的時候還是想哭。詹叔真的是融入Maurice的flesh and blood瞭。一個人能有機緣瞭解這樣一部作品和這麼好的一個演員是幸福的。即便我一直覺得這部片子和cmbyn比是被嚴重under-rated的，可藉Maurice的話說，那是境遇（situation）的問題，和他們無關。
