Larry McCloud is a frustrated cop on surveillance in Cleveland, Ohio. When his old dog Ghost returns from the dead harboring his childhood imaginary friend (Benny), McCloud is forced to rediscover his abusive childhood as his career, family, and sanity slip away. Evolved into a super-intelligent life form, Benny has returned to seek revenge against adults for failing the children. Once reborn into the minds of three gifted young children, Benny convinces Silla, Latrel, and Jason to help him execute his elaborate plan to alter the "chosen" children and bring the final war upon the earth. Can a secret intelligence cooperative and the mysterious Madame St. Martin help McCloud stop Benny before it's too late?
