Codex Seraphinianus

Luigi Serafini (born in Rome, 1949) is an Italian artist and designer. He is best known for creating the Codex Seraphinianus, an illustrated encyclopedia of imaginary things in what is believed to be a constructed language.

早些年，还没有强大的淘宝，就读过他的电子版，不全，仅仅一些图，却被其深深吸引，百看不厌，codex这个名字便深入脑海。去年在798的一间小书店的旋转楼梯的顶层，突然看到此书，如获珍宝，尽管标价一千，还是抖抖手果断买下。真书爱不释手，才发现作者竟然是在描述一整个世界...

做设计的，抱着好奇，花了大价钱去买这么一本书（图书馆没有。。。），有点失望，文字就不说了，反正完全不懂是啥，图片就是各种物质揉捏拼接，感觉《红书》想象力比这个强，表达某种情绪吧，动物和机械绑一起，自然物和人类发明物的结合。或许认知就输了。 或许荒诞不羁也是一...

What a creation!

翻了翻了电子书库存发现这本，好奇的打开看了下。惊叹，怎么会有这么奇奇怪怪的书，还那么贵。有些脑洞很好玩，但是更多的内容让人摸不着头脑，文字又很费解，对读者不友好啊。可能作者创作的时候很爽吧。
