Luigi Serafini (born in Rome, 1949) is an Italian artist and designer. He is best known for creating the Codex Seraphinianus, an illustrated encyclopedia of imaginary things in what is believed to be a constructed language.

Codex Seraphinianus，有人翻译成《塞拉菲尼抄本》。其中Codex来自拉丁语caudex，有书、手抄本、笔记本、账本等多个意思，中文习惯翻译成抄本，类似的比如Codex Mendoza（曼多撒抄本）；Seraphinianus相对比较复杂，其中Seraphini来自作者的姓氏Serafini，不过fi变成了phi，再...

I would rather be someone, like Serafini, whose work can easily be categorized as collages and decollages, than the critics or scholars who take analytic writings as their weapons in order to complicate/simplify/decode the works. "The philosophers have only interpreted the world..." and you know the rest.
