The author of more than ninety scientific papers, he also serves as the editor in chief of The Journal of Neurphysiology. 坦白講，我沒有看懂這本所謂的科普書在講些什麼，一如讀不懂休謨的《人性論》或康德的《純粹理性批判》，所以讀後最大的感受，反而在書外，那就是丫的湛廬文化太會營銷瞭，封麵上宣傳的“我們為什麼會感到快樂？為什麼戒酒、戒毒、戒賭這麼難？為什麼有些人抵抗不瞭性的誘惑？...

沒看完……作者開頭說好的少用專業名詞盡量通俗易懂呢？VTA LTP LTD LSD都是些什麼鬼？廢話好多故事沒完沒瞭。總之就是彆碰毒品，你的意誌力戰勝不瞭大腦。

3.5星吧。太多的內容都還是active research並沒有定論的，整本書可能聽npr介紹就足夠瞭。一句總結：樂趣和上癮都有大腦裏麵的根源，derive moderate pleasure from various sources.
