這本書不是傳統意義上的恐怖/驚悚小說，而是“Apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction”，算是屬於科幻小說。1000多頁的英文對現在的我確實太長，我是聽audible版

終於讀完The Stand原著，長籲一口氣！真是神作啊，有金爺最愛的《蠅王》的樣子。無論從小來說角色刻畫，還是從大來說對曆史，政治，宗教的觀點和思考，都是史詩級的精彩。曆史就是人類不斷重復過往罪惡的傷疤。Larry Underwood是我最鍾愛的金爺角色沒有之一，真的太愛他瞭，哭泣，語言無法形容。
