故事講的是第一次世界大戰，當然就戰爭故事來說，他的節奏太快瞭（這裏我要安利寫二戰的小說《戰爭與迴憶》係列，看的比較從容），節奏快的會感覺不太經看，我本來做好瞭這麼厚三本我可以玩半個月的準備（因為我隻在上下班地鐵和躺床的時候纔看書），後來幾天就結束瞭，悵然若...

1、不用記一長串外國人名 因為書裏名字很長的人都當不瞭主角！比如“特奧巴登•馮•貝特曼•霍爾維格”，太長，pass！“茉黛”，贊，又短又好記，所以是女主角之一。而且，就像美劇每集都有前情提要一樣，書裏每次重要人物齣場，都會有一段個性化的外貌、舉止描寫，很細...

amazing book!! fascinating! 雖然不算不眠不休地看，但也追這個故事追瞭幾個星期。每一頁都有新的故事發生，每個主角都鮮活異常，很擔心他們的命運。文筆很美。

聽完瞭John Lee 朗讀的版本，開始是英美德俄幾個主人公各異的命運，最終都殊途同歸地參與一戰並在戰場或政壇有瞭交集，青年命運的起承轉閤又體現瞭國傢的興衰，穿插著作者對戰爭和革命的政見，不光史料詳實，情節安排也很精彩
