Gathering some of Alex Webbs most iconic images, many of which were taken in the far corners of the earth, "The Suffering of Light" brings a fresh perspective to his extensive catalogue. Recognized as a pioneer of American colour photography, Webb has since the 1970s consistently created photographs characterized by intense colour and light. 今天再次翻看，想起第一次打开的时候，带给我的震撼足以让我重新理解摄影：原来影像冲击是真实存在的，艺术与记录是可以合二为一的，色彩与构图可以优雅地介于刻意与无意之间。摄影在做的三件事：观察、体会、捕捉，其实也就是人这一生该做的事。光之苦，太美了。
