长达六百页的小说，让我每次看都有一种停不下来的冲动。书中准确的用词，心理活动的描写，以及偶尔篇幅略长对局势的阐述都深深的吸引我。我特别喜欢Candelaria，她明确的知道自己是什么样的人和自己想要什么，果断又坚决，是一位非常令人崇拜的女性。我看着sira一步步成长，最后成为一名勇敢有主见并且自信的人，非常感慨。同时我也积累了很多短句和单词，看完后很想去西班牙。在2016年结束之前，我终于读完了。30 Dec. 2016 Canada

The last part in Lisbon really ties everything together. I love the slow rhythm in Morocco, that part is my favorite. It is filled with future and possibilities, love and friends.

虽然女主的智商情商都有点捉急...还是很不错的一本书，背景（二战期间）、主题（间谍）和视角（dressmaker）都很有意思

估摸着应该看不懂原版，所以选择了英文译版。600多页的书几乎是看得不想停下来，a real page-turner。讲述了一个西班牙裁缝小姑娘怎么样因缘际会在二战期间成为了同盟国的卧底。西班牙内战时期的马德里、摩洛哥殖民地，二战前夕的里斯本，甚至是30年代前后欧洲的流行时尚都被作者描写得活灵活现。小说虽然是虚构的，但是这个作者是那种特别严谨尊重史实的类型，在虚构的主人公身边出现的好几个人，像是主人公的好朋友同时是弗朗哥政府第一任外交部长的情人，还有好些政治人物都是真实存在的，大环境下的历史事件也都是真实的。 看完之后我只想买票杀回西班牙再一路南下到摩洛哥的Tetouan和Tangier看看。
