和近两年作为教师案头书的《Responsive Classroom》系列对比来看，很能显出近十年美国教育理念的巨大变化，尤其是一些术语的使用，两个时代的含义完全翻转。比如logical consequence，以前讲的是让学生暂失privilege和划定容忍边界，好比耐心训练小白鼠，但小白鼠还是小白鼠；现在更侧重于其中interaction的部分，对于剥夺学生的recess时间/getting 3rd party involved等高级别consequence的落实步骤更加小心。从斯金纳到克拉申，教学法走了一大步，即便如此，将来还有很长的路要走；教育产业化对公立学校的影响，公私校的尖锐对立…宏观上尤甚。推荐阅读，批判地读有十分的启发。
