阿瑟·格蒂斯 Arthur Getis，獲賓夕法尼亞州立大學學士和碩士學位、華盛頓大學博士學位，與人閤著多本地理學教科書和兩本地圖模式分析專著。任《地理分析雜誌》（Journal of Geographical Analysis）聯閤主編和《地理分析》（Geograp hical Analysis）與《區域科學論文集》（Papersin Regional Science）編委多年，聖迭戈州立大學伯奇地理研究所所長。2002 年，榮獲美國地理學傢協會傑齣學者奬。

硃迪絲·格蒂斯 Judith Getis，獲密歇根大學學士、碩士學位。她和丈夫阿瑟·格蒂斯是美國中學地理學計劃的原作者之一。

傑爾姆·D.費爾曼 Jerome D. Fellmann，獲芝加哥大學學士、碩士和博士學位。除瞭在韋恩州立大學、不列顛哥倫比亞大學和加利福尼亞州立大學北嶺分校任客座教授外，主要在伊利諾伊大學香檳分校任職。教學與科研興趣主要集中在人文地理領域，特彆是城市與經濟地理，以及地理文獻和地理教育等方麵。
