【阅读时间:1.5小时】这里的现实主义跟中国式的现实主义不同，感觉更像是把现实中的原型和人性给提取出来，尽管是现实主义但是却充满了戏剧感、舞台感。台词写的很漂亮，字里行间都是戏。这女人缺爱到了极致啊。

斯特林堡很清楚自己要做的是什么，自序写得非常好。但剧本不知为何感觉进不去，可能是他太沉迷于人物的设定了，台词不够自然；也可能是独幕剧太紧凑，情节起伏太快。也许头脑“清醒”的人会过度关注自己看见的问题，反而是“迷迷糊糊”、“神叨叨”的写作显得更加生动

序比正文重要。看门人的狗和女主人的狗，对应女主与男仆的阶级关系；权势暂时颠倒，最终回归原有秩序；封闭空间内的角力，不那么自然主义（广义上仍是自然主义的，譬如强调遗传的因素），反而预告了像McDonagh一类的剧作风格。谈到私奔的时候，一些「现代性」的苗头若隐若现，如火车旅行、Julie暗示要做酒店的橱窗女郎、欧陆地理名称的罗列等等。
