维斯拉瓦·辛波斯卡（Wislawa Szymborska），1923-2012，一九二三年生于波兰小镇布宁。她擅长以幽默、诗意的口吻描述严肃主题和日常事物，以诗歌回答生活。是波兰最受欢迎的诗人，也是公认为当代最为迷人的诗人之一，享有“诗界莫扎特”的美誉。一九九六年获得诺贝尔文学奖，是文学史上第三位获奖女诗人。二O一二年二月的一个晚上，辛波斯卡在住宅里安然去世。在她的葬礼上，波兰各地的人们纷纷赶来，向诗人作最后的告别。

译者简介：

陈黎，台湾著名诗人、翻译家。著有诗集、散文集、音乐评论集二十余种，曾获时报文学奖、联合报文学奖、梁实秋文学奖翻译奖，金鼎奖等众多大奖。

张芬龄，台湾师大英语系毕业。著有评论集《现代诗启示录》，与陈黎合译书十余种。曾多次获得梁实秋文学奖翻译奖。

又刷了一遍，仍然爱不释手，虽然有全集，还是更喜欢这个版本，喜欢到愿意变成这本书里的一个词，一个字母，一个标点。这次读觉得辛波斯卡和ali smith也极其相似。Since how can it be that whatever exists/can only exist in one way,/an awful situation, for there's no escaping yourself, /no pause, no transformation? 所以她的诗里，有很多梦，很多孩子，很多小丑/丑角，很多幅画，很多幕剧。non omnis moriar(拉丁语: 我不会全死)这句话在诗集里反复出现，简直是她的座右铭，嗯，从今以后，它也是我的，座右铭。
