After graduating from Emory University in Atlanta in 1992, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhiked to Alaska, where he went to live in the wilderness. Four months later, he turned up dead. His diary, letters and two notes found at a remote campsite tell of his desperate effort to survive, apparently stranded by an injury and slowly starving. 哲学猫跟我唠叨了四五遍这本书，从欧洲路上说到亚洲赤道。原来作者是乔恩，写了《进入空气稀薄地带》，是山友的必读。文笔很流畅，故事情节穿插妥当。我喜欢作者对少年儿童时期的心理分析，作者以自身成长经历及其父因素来分析麦坎德利斯的心理状态，还有数位死在荒野的冒险家...

十年前标的想读 4年前开始读的 这次疫情让我把最后一部分终于读完了 他不会后悔 只是遗憾明明已经想通了却失去回归社会的机会了 作者也拿自己以前的经历对比 出走并不会给年轻人不适应人类社会有任何的改变 结尾父母来到巴士看看 哭了 happiness only real when shared 逃离不了社会

试图把偏执者的梦想和愚行描绘成理想践行者的自我考验和升华，材料不够扎实，内容亦无甚意义。 未完成即放弃了。
