Heathcliff 's destructive force is unleashed, and his first victim is Catherine, who dies giving birth to a girl, another Catherine. Isabella Linton, Edgar's sister, whom he had married, flees to the south. Their son Linton and Catherine are married, but always sickly Linton dies. 终于看完了,累死老娘了

Not a single likable character throughout the book, however the storyline is grabbing. Many ancient myths begin with the rescue of an abandoned child, however in this book, the rescue leads to a great tragedy. The Yorkshire dialect (In writing!!!) confused me a great deal luckily there isn't much. I can not tell Bronte’s attitude toward the characters of the novel, but she's descriptive with the destructiveness of a love.
