这书买了有五六年了，当初就是因为科林叔写的短篇而买的，买完却一直丢在一旁，直到昨晚读到科林叔开的书单然后一边为他也爱着乔纳森弗兰岑而激动不已（讲真，和喜欢的人爱着同一本书是我觉得最接近偶像的场景），一边终于想起来把这本短篇集给捞起来了。 他写的真是出乎意料的纯真，出乎意料是因为科林叔被人所熟知的是一个成熟独立的形象，但他的整个故事又敏感又哀伤，甚至洋溢着未经世事的天真和懵懂，而且对青少年时期的孤独感把握得太好了，那种颤颤悠悠手忙脚乱不协调的慌张，维持着青春期独有的荒诞幻想和现实落差之间平衡的小心翼翼，这种反差带来很大惊喜，惊喜后慢慢回品余味无穷，以为是在读盖曼罗琳还有弗兰岑。 喜欢对时钟的解读，人生就是一个被各种无形无意义的概念所束缚着的the department of nothing

看到作者就激动的不得了，这可是nick Hornby诶！再看看里面短篇作者更是醉，我知道很多人都喜欢Irvine welsh但Colin Firth才是真的惊艳到我诶！

怎么都写的那么棒！读Robert Harris那篇的时候真的是要笑死了，Nick Hornby的brother-in-law的风格跟他也很像，脑补一家圣诞聚会的光景是要笑死人。几年前还买过他的Pompeii，改日拿出来读一读。Colin Firth也很能写，是不是英国人写的东西都很直击心灵？
