How about the other of “the other”?? the difference of “the difference”??

有几章抽象而艰涩，感觉好读的都是熟悉的主题和例子（e.g Marcus关于World system，Fischer谈到ethnicity），更像是一本给老练的ethnographers写的guide book，有些观点确实是过时了。可以跟abu lughod的writing against culture对读。p.s 感觉自己还是要多提高姿势水平，familiarize myself with anthropological ways of phrasing
