開年時40塊淘的原著，很小的一本書，像書評人說的，完全可以也值得被裝到行囊裏伴你旅行。間斷的花瞭約25天讀完全書394頁，讀完很感動。我從未徒步爬過幾座山頭，嚮來登山也隻一次一座而已，早齣晚歸。曾用電子設備記錄過自己的步數，最多一日十三公裏，還依稀記得當天走完纍...

戶外旅行的佳作，處處透著睿智、幽默、犀利以及驚人的博學，從阿巴拉契亞小道延伸開去，堪稱美國近代自然史的小百科。可惜翻譯實在不敢恭維，語句近乎直譯，生硬拗口，有些句子又長又彆扭讓人差點一口氣提不上來，還有錯彆字，糟蹋瞭一本好書。接力齣版社，望再接再厲。
