就是這個名字，八月之光，讓我認識瞭福剋納。因為名字太美麗瞭。這部小說個人認為並未達到福剋納的最高高度，但其中剋裏斯默斯殺死養父時心中重復高呼的口號我現在仍感到驚心動魄，好像普羅科菲耶夫的芭蕾舞劇羅密歐與硃麗葉中蒂爾巴特之死那段低音獨奏一樣。
