a good man is hard to find和wise blood一樣，都有種“去聖逾遠，寶變為石”的悲愴感，Misfit壞的很有分量，因為他承受著信仰缺失的磨摺，他深刻地意識到這是末法時代，他委身於地獄就像有人相信“天國近瞭”，是同樣地堅定。Misfit作惡的開端是因為他忘記因為什麼而受罰，這種失衡感貫穿瞭整個集子。奧康納的視角非常獨特，筆觸常有漫畫色彩，有些地方辛辣地讓人擊節贊嘆。雖然很邪惡，但是太對我胃口。
