卡斯顿·勒胡（Gaston Leroux, 1868-1927），20世纪初期法国最杰出的推理小说作家，在法国有“永恒的记者”之称。勒胡毕业后在一家律师事务所做书记员，业余创作随笔和短篇小说。1890年开始投身报业，曾作为特派记者周游世界各地。1900年开始创作长篇小说。他的小说风格诡异，擅长以不可思议的内容与场景营造恐怖玄异的气氛，并且在恐怖中淋漓尽致地表达人性。他的著作《黄色房间之谜》被称誉为“不可模仿、不可超越的推理小说杰作”。

哎，正所谓天妒英才，才华横溢的埃利克却有着魔鬼般的容貌，试问如果埃利克有着英俊的相貌，那么在他的一片痴情下，克里斯蒂娜还会选择拉乌尔么？  

看这部小说完全是因为电影的影响，并不是因为英国著名作曲家安德鲁·洛伊·韦伯创作的音乐剧《歌剧魅影》，也不是因为乔舒马赫在2004年的电影，而是因为中国1995年由张国荣主演的电影《夜半歌声》。据说这部电影是根据《歌剧魅影》这部小说改编的，作为一个张国荣的后荣迷，这...

2年前看的话剧，今年读的实体书，各有风味

可怜又可悲

全文有点拖沓，对魅影的描写其实不比歌剧多多少，倒是Raoul变成了一个只会说而不会做的小白脸贵公子…Christine也印象下滑，结局太童话也太心痛。比歌剧充盈的是，得知了魅影的前身，以及对地下宫殿的详细描述。13章和23章最好看。

由于先看了电影和歌剧，原以为剧情类似，没想到书中很多细节在影视作品和歌剧中并没有表现出来，没有配乐也让阅读少了一些乐趣，自动脑补Angel of Music单曲循环。

平心而论，忽视歌剧改编版的Erik，原书真的很难看！虽然我雷Raoul和Christine的爱情，但我更不喜欢Erik，与其丑陋的外表无关，而是畸形的内心让人厌恶。
