★★★★☆ 好吧，我是觉得Daisy Miller挺神经质的，不过喜欢啊，谁叫她漂亮，有小酒窝，聪明，纯真呢，但也不至于把她写死了啊，考虑到Henry James的“情结”，美国人死在欧洲？几个意思哩？

质疑自己是否学过英语？但安慰说毕竟是亨利詹姆斯，下次先试水简单点的作者吧。

全程跪拜James大神那最极具密林野兽形式感的美，以及流动的飨宴中嗤笑唏嘘可鄙可笑可怜或可敬的没落贵族们的身份确认。时空似泼云烟，现实紧悬一线意识已迷狂，而迷局道具恰是献祭之人。求而不得的解答以及画，想起曾经看过一篇人物小传写Henry James的压抑克制人格倒解了一直残念的否定一切确定之事的反思色彩，另一种凝滞的浪漫。软弱挣扎决不失礼或自轻，德巴兰特与马丘的对话以为已给出了结尾，思而不得不可见不可知→终错过→行将捱过去，或死，萦绕不走的恐惧不安，无数变奏渐息终止。Calvino的称颂不是没道理的，Henry James的疏离虚无形式感布拉布拉丝毫不输现代或后现代一众且不失古典地克制单纯崇高与理想，不至于宏大又不流于自恋。反正绅士感啦啦啦。
