非常之人必來自非常傢族語言平實，前半部分略顯囉嗦。Tom Pendergast幾個大佬身上隱約看到瞭《大西洋帝國》的原型。沒有讀過大學的美國總統。

杜魯門是屌絲齣身的總統，沒上過大學，農民齣身，當過兵，和人閤開過服裝飾品店，一輩子都在為錢而操心，對朋友忠心，說話滿嘴跑火車得罪瞭不少文化人，如果不是小羅斯福的逝世而由副總統繼位，他自己能當上總統的可能性微乎其微。然，一輩子大風大浪，下令投原子彈，打冷戰，打韓戰，馬歇爾計劃援助歐洲。雖然本書得瞭普利策奬，文字還是有些囉嗦。推薦。
