彼得・聖吉(PeterM.Senge) 1947年齣生於芝加哥,1970年於史丹福大學完成航空及太空工程學士學位後,進入麻省理工史隆管理學院讀研究所,鏇即被佛睿思特(JayForrester)教授的係統動力學整體動態
搭配的管理新觀念所吸引;1978年獲得博士學位後,至今十餘年來,他和麻省理工學院的一群工作夥伴及企業界人士,孜孜不倦地緻力於將係統動力學與組織學習、創造原理、認知科學、群體深度對話與模擬演練遊戲融閤,發展齣一種人類夢寐以求的組織藍圖――在其中,人們得以由工作中得齣生命的意義、實現共同願望的“學習型組織”。
